Blogging Gets Me Through The Gloomy Winter Days

Blogging gets me through the gloomy, winter days. Today is a cold, rainy, gloomy winter day in January, and I’m bundled up inside with the heater on trying to get and stay warm. It’s one of those days where getting myself motivated to be creative, positive and expressive tends to be a chore. But blogging for fun helps a lot. I’m writing and spending time with you, which is a ray of sunshine.

Blogging is something new to me, and I’m liking it more and more. I have read many other bloggers’ blogs and thought how clever they were and how enjoyable to read – I’d never be able to match up with them! Whether I do or not is no longer my concern.

The Beauty of Blogging

That is the beauty of blogging: we are all different people with different points of view and different ambitions and likes that whatever we share is very individualistic. The blogs shouldn’t be boring to read as they originate from all different sources. Blogging can even shed a little light on a gloomy day just like this Amazon coffee mug!

Most times, I will have articles to share that contain nutritional information or recipes or something pertaining to designing your life in a healthy world. There will be other times, however, like today, where it is just a time of talking with you like friends who pour a cup of coffee at the kitchen table and talk about all sorts of things.

Blogging is Sharing Coffee With A Close Friend

The luxury of doing that – sharing coffee with a close friend – is one that doesn’t happen very much for me because my family is not in my town, and my friends have scattered in recent months to move on to places far away. We keep in touch with our modern-day technology, which is great, but it’s not the same as the close bond we used to have in person.

I really hope that this will become a two-way conversation eventually, as you get comfortable with writing back to me, but in the meanwhile, I will have to dominate our get-together.

Blogging is a new world for me, as I have said earlier, and there is a lot to learn and a lot of people from whom to learn. It can be a bit overwhelming some days as it’s not just a matter of sitting down and writing my thoughts that I want to share.

Blogging is Best When It’s a Two-Way Street

That being said, the most important aspect of blogging is producing interesting blogs that you want to read and even enjoy reading and that you want to come back for more. It’s the same as building a friendship that makes you feel enriched every time you visit together. The friendship gets stronger and more enjoyable, and you look forward to the next time that you visit our “kitchen table”. This blogging tee-shirt says it perfectly!

So, that is my desire with writing this blog: that you enjoy the content I present here, that you get value and enrichment from the posts, and that you look forward to coming back again soon.

My Blogging Will Include Helpful Links

There will be lots of products that I will share with you that I like or find necessary for a recipe or some other preparation, and I will let you know where you can find them to buy. Links will be included in the blog post for your convenience. I appreciate that service when I am looking at someone’s blog as it cuts down on my time used for chasing after the product, so I hope that you do, too.

As we get to know each other more, I look forward to receiving your comments and questions. It will be fun to communicate back and forth so don’t be shy. Just jump in there in the comment box so we can get acquainted.

With that, I will close for today and wish you a happy day.  Until next time….
